### General Winter Services

 

Q: What winter services does Stonehouse Property Care offer?

A: We provide comprehensive winter property maintenance including:

A: Our winter services operate from November 15th to April 15th each year. We monitor weather conditions closely and prepare our teams in advance of forecasted snow events.

 

### Snow Clearing Services

 

Q: What is your snow clearing policy?

A: We clear snow when accumulation reaches 5 cm (2 inches). Our goal is to clear all snow within 12 hours after snowfall has ceased.

 

Q: What areas of my property do you clear?

A: Our standard snow clearing service includes:

- Driveways

- Parking areas (for commercial properties)

Custom clearing areas can be arranged based on your specific needs.

 

Q: What areas do you avoid when plowing?

A: For safety reasons, we maintain a 12-18 inch clearance from:

Q: Do you provide service after city plows come through?

A: Our policy regarding city plows is:

- We are not responsible for snow left behind by city plows or other private companies working in the area

- If city plows have not yet come through when we perform our service, we will clear any plow piles present at that time

- If we have already plowed and the city plows come through afterwards, a second visit at your request will incur an additional one-time charge

 

### Contract and Service Details

 

Q: How many visits are included in a seasonal contract?

A: The seasonal contract covers up to 15 snow clearing visits. Additional visits beyond this will be charged per service.

 

Q: What's not covered under standard snow removal?

A: The following are not included in standard service:

- Salt application (available upon request for additional cost)

- Snow clearing after city plows have passed (after our initial clearing)

- Clearing of snow accumulation less than 5cm

- Areas with unmarked obstacles or hazards

 

Q: What factors might affect service timing?

A: Service delays may occur due to:

- Equipment failure

- Poor road conditions

- Reduced visibility during severe storms

- Extreme weather conditions

- Heavy snowfall volumes

 

### Property Preparation and Safety
